This was our first visit to this park. We were pleasantly surprised with the park. Although small, it has long pull through sites that will accommodate any length RV. Concrete pads with grass in between sites was nice. Restroom and shower facility was very clean. The camp host was very helpful and pleasant (and chatty). The park has no recreational facilities so does not rate a 10. However, it is a good place to set up camp for a few days as it is close to the wineries. We would definitely come here again.

We stayed here two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Park is three years old and well developed although not large. Great security, has concrete pads with grass and shrubs in between each site, very clean restroom facilities, a nice swimming pool and hot tub, a small convenience store. It is a bit pricey, as you pay between $40-$50 depending on where you stay (around the small lake is the most expensive). However, if you are a golfer it is a great deal as you get two free rounds of golf (cart is extra) for each night you stay. We will plan on returning again.

We stayed here three nights in a travel trailer. The description of the campground sounded nice, but when we arrived we should have turned around and left before registering. However, decided to stay since we were there and were sorry we did. Old campground with lots of permanent residents in the RV section, no restrooms or showers near the RV section, the lake level was so low we could not launch our kayaks, RV section was located away from the other camping area. Would not recommend this to anyone.

May be the finest state park campground in California, with a great setting. Located near Highway 1, but no road noise, is simply a great vacation spot. Near many places to see---walk to the beach is fast and easy, although must hike down the hill. Electric sites are in demand and hard to get--must reserve your spot many months in advance. If in the Santa Cruz-Capitola area this campground is not to be missed.

Basic campground in Death Valley--the best one in the valley without many amenities. No hookups, but a good spot for sightseeing. Next to the golf course. Sites are very busy due to the demand in the valley.

A busy RV park. Sites very close together along a busy street. Good spot for stopping in this area, but we were never very comfortable because of everything being concrete and asphalt. Has a nice pool and decent shower area. Lots of "showbirds" staying there for longer stays. We will stay in Palm Desert next time at a more comfortable RV park.

Has lots of facilities-pool, workout room, showers, on-site restaurant and bar. Very nice--trees are small and will be years before any shade is available. Staff was very nice. Located in a busy area near the freeway and was noisy. A good destination if you are visiting in Bakersfield.
